WEIGH IN DAY/ Day 7 Food Log 2/26/12

Before I get to yesterdays food log I am sure most of you are wondering if my diet over the past week was actually one that would permit me to lose weight.  Remember that my goal with this diet is to get lean, lose fat, and not just lose "weight" in general.  I weighed my self this morning and the digital scale read 232.6lbs which was a total loss of 7.9lbs.  My original weight was 240.5lbs.  I am satisfied with the first week of the diet because I don't look too deflated or weak as I have looked in the past from cutting carbs.  I believe that my protein intake this time is high enough to help me preserve muscle.  I am sure that this next week of the diet will not allow too much weight to be lost as the first week of any diet is typically the biggest loss.  Stay tuned.....

As for my Food log yesterday....
Breakfast was 4 Organic Eggs Scrambled in Bacon Fat that was still in the pan from a pound of bacon we scrambled.  I also had several slices of bacon and some Black Phoenix Coffee.  All Whitefeather Products for breakfast.

Lunch was from Chipotle.  Going out to eat is never too easy when you have diet rules but I ordered a salad bowl which obviously had lettuce, I ordered double chicken, pinto and black beans, and two types of salsa.  With the double meat chicken I was still able to stuff myself as I typically do when I get chipotle.  I just didn't get the tortilla wrap or the rice, cheese or sour cream.  (Just more meat.)  I had water to drink.

For dinner my wonderful mother made a Whitefeather Meats Prime Rib Roast.  She baked it perfectly and it had awesome taste and was quite tender.  I ate a full 12oz to 14oz slice of ribeye and then another 4oz or so slice along with 2 big salads with lettuce and peppers.  I had coffee and water to drink with dinner.

I will be weighing in again next monday morning.
